And then it occurred to me, that this might be a global need. So maybe it is, and maybe it isn't. If it's just an awesome resource for me and my little bubble of students, then awesome. If you are a violin teacher or a violinist and think it's awesome, share it, tweet it, shout it out loud, and tell your friends.
Who knows, maybe you can even start a trend, let me know when all your friends start playing because they want to be more like you!
I talk about it a little in this video, but in any case, happy playing!
What is Violin like That?
I created violinlikethat for my students, because they would often come to lessons asking to learn a song from the radio, and as a teacher whose main focus and goals in teaching are to help my students to get advanced in classical music, I thought having a place to send them to learn their favorite songs in a comprehensive way (from me, no less!) would benefit us all in a million and twenty five ways
This would make happier parents, that don't feel like the lesson time is more productive, happier students, who feel like they have a serious arsenal of songs to play if anyone asks (which ups their self esteem and social status in crazy awesome ways!), and happier me, who can spend the lesson time focusing on progress in all the different departments that I think are necessary. And fun for all!
